What does "tenants" mean in stadium context?

Look at the bottom of United Center infobox. What does "tenants" mean in stadium context? Rizosome ( talk) 13:47, 14 August 2021 (UTC) reply

It means the teams rent the arena from its owner. -- 14:24, 14 August 2021 Baseball Bugs
Generally, yes. But in this case the teams own the stadium. The basic idea of "tenants" in a stadium is "which teams have their home games there". -- Khajidha ( talk) 13:00, 15 August 2021 (UTC) reply
Rizosome, {{ infobox venue}} has a parameter tenants, explained in the documentation as Insert the teams and any other parties who use the venue as their home stadium or arena. It is clearly worth having such a field separately from owner, even if the teams using it happen to own it. If you are not happy with the word "tenants", and you can think of a better way of displaying the information, I suggest you open a discussion at Template talk:Infobox venue. -- ColinFine ( talk) 16:50, 15 August 2021 (UTC) reply
I did just that, and got and interesting response. ← Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:32, 16 August 2021 (UTC) reply
