September 6 Information
Back in the late 1990s, I was at the movies and saw a remake of the exam sketch from the first episode of Mr. Bean. The sketch was shown as a short film before a movie. Rowan Atkinson played the same role, and I think most of the jokes were the same, but the sketch had somewhat slicker production values than the 1990 version. (Eg, a more expensive-looking set, better lighting, more dramatic sound effects, etc.) Unfortunately, I can barely find any evidence that this remake ever existed. I think this old rec.arts.movies.current-films comment is a reference to it, but that's all I've been able to uncover.
I'm aware of the Mr. Bean feature films. This wasn't a scene from either of those. Does anyone have any information about the sketch? Is it available to watch anywhere? Thanks! Zagalejo ^^^ 18:15, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
