dvd audio commentary

I have been listening to Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel audio commentaries and have noticed that they stop talking when the screen goes black between scenes. Sometimes the talking doesn't stop and people are reminded that the screen is black. Are there rules governing audio commentary or is this just on Mutant Enemy dvds?

I don't know if there are rules, but it could just be it's scene-specific commentary. Or maybe the commentary was recorded without the speaker actually viewing the film, so they have to be told when the screen goes black. Jessica Thunderbolt 16:40, 12 September 2008 (UTC) reply
