CDC Cyber#Cyber 70 and 170 series implies that the Cyber 70 used discrete transistors whereas the 170 used ICs. Did the Cyber 70 really use discrete transistors in 1974? ( List of transistorized computers doesn't list the Cyber 70.) Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 02:23, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
I have my router assign the hostname "nas" to my NAS, so that I won't have to type out the full IP every time. When I do "ping nas", everything works.
But when I type in "nas" in the Firefox URL bar, firefox thnks it's a search keyword and takes me to the Google search page for the word "nas". How can I change things so that when I type "nas" (or whatever proper domain name I should assign the NAS) in the URL bar it actually goes to the local IP address?
(I realize that "nas" isn't a valid domain name. If I have to change it to something like "nas.local" then so be it, as long as the URL bar thing works.) Mũeller ( talk) 05:42, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
