Here are some tips and tricks to ensure that your editing in Wikipedia is as efficient and productive as possible. Feel free to add any ideas you have come up with yourself!

Logging in

You should be logged in whenever you view or edit Wikipedia. This is because:

  1. You can receive alerts when someone had left a message on your talk page.
  2. You (and others) can keep track of your contributions.

Watchlist

You should maintain and regularly check your watchlist.

The articles on your watchlist should, at a minimum, be:

  1. Your own userpage
  2. The userpages of your group members
  3. Our project page
  4. Your article page
  5. This page

In general it's also a handy idea to go to your Preferences and check the button that says "Add pages I edit to my watchlist."
