I came up with this saying a while ago, and applied it to WP:DRNC, which I find to be an important Wiki-topic. I don’t think the motto is too difficult to understand. But to avoid any confusion, it simply means that just because there is no YES, does not mean that it's a NO, and you shouldn’t jump to conclusions (e.g. reverting based on no consensus). I came up with this saying a while ago, and applied it to WP:DRNC, which I find to be an important Wiki-topic. I don’t think the motto is too difficult to understand. But to avoid any confusion, it simply means that just because there is no YES, does not mean that it's a NO, and you shouldn’t jump to conclusions (e.g. reverting based on no consensus).
