  True, if it were used as a template "{{WT:Spoiler/old template}}", then that's a violation. Same as "{{Template:expand}}". Nevertheless, to me, that's a flimsy reason to delete it. Deleting this template and that page for possibility of violating deletion consensus or its "stale" historical value... is it really strong enough to get rid of this template and that miscellaneous page? What's the point of deleting them if they're going to be re-created again or re-evaluated? What's the point of deleting them if they have been kept for years? What's the point of deleting them if people are pleased to see them gone? • Merge contents to WP:SPOILER and delete page. Useless page, orphan. We could keep the actual template somewhere else, like the main WP:SPOILER page, but mark it as historical. We could also add to the main spoiler page about prior use and maybe a summary of discussions which led to the removal of spoiler warnings.   • Strong Oppose merging The idea of "merging" this anywhere makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The only reason this is kept at all is for the history of the template, to illustrate the evolution of the template along with the evolution of the community's attitude towards spoiler warnings. There is nothing in the current version (or any past version) worth merging anywhere. If this is not kept, it should just be deleted instead of trying to uselessly "merge" it anywhere.
