While a noble idea... this project violates
WP:NOT, specifically "Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information" and previous precedents that we don't keep articles on all streets that aren't numbered or notable (Please see recent discussions on British B roads for examples.)

OK, that needs to change. Where, as here, the Project has a good use not expressed properly in its guideline, the solution is to edit the guideline, not delete the Project.

Keep - This will be no "list of streets", rather a collection of real articles, and I think we can safely assume that the most notable of Paris' streets will appear first. I for one will not be "dumping stubs" and this is not the intention of this project - its project page makes this pretty clear I think. PS: It would be kind of you to indicate what part of
WP:NOT this article violates - this would make your argument clearer. Thanks.

Just to again clarify, when this was AFDed the projects focus was not major streets, but all streets in Paris from alleys to blvds... Xoloz has since changed the criteron of the project to protect if from deletion.

Keep, doesn't violate
WP:NOT. If you don't like the focus of a project, the solution is not to delete the project but rather to join it and help to form consensus on the project's direction, per Xoloz (good job, Xoloz).

Keep since it explicitly states that the aim is to create articles about notable streets. Paris is hardly far enough off the beaten track to qualify as countering systemic bias, but the aim seems to me both benign and encyclopaedic (and I speak as one who abhors cruft in all its forms). -
