This project was started back in 2003 as WikiProject Fictional series and went inactive in 2007 and renamed to WikiProject Media franchises in 2008 and went inactive in 2010 with no activity, no new members and no new tasks forces (The Texas Chain saw Massacre task force was proposed in 2008, although it never happened). Keep In nominating this for deletion, JJ98 explains why this should be kept: "This project was started back in 2003 as WikiProject Fictional series and went inactive in 2007 and renamed to WikiProject Media franchises in 2008 and went inactive in 2010." Given these long stretches of activity, preserving all this history is for the best – especially since, as noted above, it might be ripe for revival.
