Wikipedia:WikiProject Massively multiplayer online games/Article Archive

This page indexes deleted MMOG articles and stores the full text of the deleted articles in sub-pages. However, Wikipedia already has guidelines for userfying deleted articles, and in my opinion it's inappropriate to use the project space as an alternative to userfication or to preserve material that deletion processes have determined does not meet WP's threshold for inclusion. An additional problem with this page is that the archived deleted articles are copied and pasted to the archive sub-pages, stripping the edit histories in violation of Wikipedia's GFDL license. I suggest deleting this page, associated sub-pages (currently only one archived article exists, Astro Empires), redirects and archive template per the above concerns regarding GFDL and misuse of project space. -- Muchness ( talk) 10:30, 5 February 2008 (UTC) reply

  • Delete project space is not a way to evade an AfD consensus and should not be used as such. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 16:33, 5 February 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Delete. Also delete the template and subpages. If the archives are userfiable, they can be userfied, but project space isn't where they belong. Bart133 (t) (c) 16:36, 5 February 2008 (UTC) reply
  • Delete Clear attempt to evade consensus, could probably be speedied. MBisanz talk 03:46, 6 February 2008 (UTC) reply
