Project was started back in 2007 by
Driveus, and went inactive in 2010 by Baa (aka Treelo). I tried to revive the project, and so far none. The only problem is that the Cartoon Network WikiProject is losing lack of interest. Noting worth keeping since the project went inactive. Most of the Cartoon Network characters and episodes got deleted due to lack of sources (like Dexter from Dexter's Lab and Courage from Courage the Cowardly Dog which was redirect and deleted). JJ98 (

I agree, I think that
WP:ANIMATION handles many work groups like Pixar and American American work group. I think that's strange idea to have many most of the Animation WikiProjects, like WikiProject The Simpsons, WikiProject SpongeBob SquarePants, WikiProject Futurama and WikiProject Family Guy. If
WP:TOON redirects to
WP:ANIMATION, I possibly merge into WikiProject Animation as nominator and set as a task force/work group. JJ98 (

Delete non-trivial discussion but it's almost all self-referential. No interested editors anymore, particularly since Baa/Treelo and Yngvarr drove the majority of the discussion and editing but are both now retired (sadly). Also, there are what? 30-40 shows, a couple episode lists and that's about it, right? Not a whole lot to go on, particularly when articles like
Regular Show consist almost entirely of me constantly reverting vandalism. Ten Pound Hammer,

Weak Delete although I agree that someone needs to follow through on redirecting any articles. I think this one might also be a good candidate for archiving but Ill keep watching the comments and possibly change my vote late. --

Mark as historical with redirect note to
WP:ANIMATION stating its still active - lots was done by this project and there is quite the amount of history that would be lost if deleted that includes
Style guidelines that had to reach consensus (this should not be deleted).

I agree with you Moxy, I want to mark the project as historical along with
Style guidelines so it doesn't get deleted. I may possibly start a Cartoon Network work group of
WP:ANIMATION, so long as
Portal:Cartoon Network will not be deleted. JJ98 (

Yes, I know TPH, I requested for speedy deletion myself, along with
Book:Cartoon Network and
Book:Cartoon Cartoons. I have also split and converted Adult Swim task force into a WikiProject to try to attract the Adult Swim fans for attention. JJ98 (

Keep We do not delete WikiProjects simply for being inactive. This project has TONS of talk page history. So much stuff is worth keeping for this project that I'm very tempted to just speedy close this as keep. --

Keep because this was a very active project in the past, with many members and plenty of talk page history. I note
Portal:Cartoon Network has been re-created (by JJ98, who initiated this MfD). I further note that JJ98 wrote above that he wants "to mark the project as historical along with
Style guidelines so it doesn't get deleted." Given all of this, I think that this a pretty clear-cut case of a WikiProject that shouldn't have been nominated for deletion in the first place and should just remain where it is, as tagged.
