The result of the debate was Speedy Close in favor of clarifiation from the Arbitration Committee, who may take action with regard to this case and its associated subpages at their discretion. An MFD on this matter is both premature and beyond the purview of MFD. UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 01:30, 28 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Orangemarlin

This "case" does not reflect an enforceable decision by the Arbitration Committee, as only one arbitrator, FT2, has publicly endorsed the outcome, while another Arbitrator, Kirill Lokshin, asserts that the decision in this "case" has no force or effect:

The announcements made today by FT2 (including both the Orangemarlin issue and the various other matters) were posted without the approval or prior knowledge of the Committee as a whole. Further, no formal proceeding, secret or otherwise, has taken place regarding Orangemarlin or any other editor named in that particular statement. As far as I'm concerned, these announcements have no authority or binding weight whatsoever. [1]

This issue has been the subject of further discussion on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Orangemarlin and other matters. It appears that this "case" is a nullity, and should be deleted. John254 01:22, 28 June 2008 (UTC) reply
