WP:UBX states that "Userboxes must not be inflammatory or divisive", and I believe that a threat - serious or lighthearted - certainly comes under this category.

Keep - inflammatory means "incendiary: arousing to action or rebellion" and divisive means "Having a quality that divides or separates." "You mess with this user, and he'll/she'll denature your protein." won't arouse others to action or rebellion. The language does not divide or separate Wikipedians. If this violated anything, it would be "
Userboxes must not include
incivility". I didn't see anything in
incivility that fits. The phrase does not rise to rudeness, aggressive behaviours, or taunting and has some humor contained in the message that softens any harsh message. --

Suntag I find this userbox rude, agressive, and unfunny. While it is
presumably ment as a joke rather than a real threat, it seems to me more likely to cause offence than to build community and therefore is best deleted.

I don't think the userbox is a positive contribution to Wikipedia because "You mess with this user, and he'll/she'll
denature your
protein." seem to be in opposite of "You mess with this user, and he'll/she'll assume good faith" and does not seem to apply the suggestions at
Wikipedia:How to be civil. However, I can't say that it violates

Keep How is this userbox rude, agressive or inflamatory? It's supposed to be funny, a joke, no matter how bad it is. I didn't lol at it but I still found it a little funny. It basically highlights the fact that the user studies biology, teaches you some technical terms and at the same time makes you laugh. I like it...if you find it insulting you really need to grow a thicker skin, this is the internet.--

Keep does not appear to be attacking anyone or any class of people, speaks to the scientific interests of one using it, encourages further reading to anyone coming across it. Well within the acceptable use of userboxes under
