- Speedy blank since we can't remove a main userpage page and deleting it removes the useful talkpage with warnings/block notice etc. Legacypac ( talk)

- Comment - Again, it says: "You are welcome to edit this page, but please do not blank, merge, or move it, or remove this notice, while the discussion is in progress." I strongly disagree with the action of [[[User:Legacypac]] in speedy-blanking a page that is under discussion. Let the discussion run for seven days. Who made you king of what is a consensus process? - The content is an WP:UP#COPIES but not otherwise a problem. So there is value in removing the material but no value in hiding the history from Admins. These kinds of things can be done without discussion or Admin involvement. If the page is actually deleted it leaves the usertalk page as an orphan and this one is loaded with material. - Comment - It is true that this time User:Legacypac left the MFD template standing. In the recent past they have been known to blank the page including the template. I still disagree with the unilateral speedy blanking and speedy redirecting of MFDs, but will LP at least agree that the template should not be blanked? - I blanked two pages and clearly said why. Dealing with main userpage UP Copies like this at MfD is a waste of time. We know the result will be delete or blank but the page will still exist after the close since we can't remove a main userpage for any user. Legacypac ( talk) 18:18, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
