- Keep temporarily Keep this for a few weeks and see what happens and whether or not anything happens, it was only created today, I mean give the project a chance!

- Comment, it could be kept for a few weeks but I do not seek any advantage because other topics related to the portal could be covered in the Food portal which is already featured. Shyam ( T/ C) 18:56, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. The introduction itself states its purpose is to "create the worlds biggest Food/Recipe Site". Obviously, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, and this includes non-encyclopedic recipes and manuals. Not a valid portal. Michaelas10 (Talk) 18:52, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

- Delete - keep recipes in Wikibooks, please. A "recipe of the week" function that provides standard recipes for food items that have Wikipedia articles might be permissible in Portal:Food, depending on how it is implemented. Gracenotes T § 13:28, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
