Portal:Seattle Sounders FC

Portal:Seattle Sounders FC ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Single team portal redundent to Portal:Soccer in the United States and other higher sport level portals. The task force for the team is inactive [1] with no actual discussions since 2015 so they are not supporting this portal. The news is also from 2015 on the portal but you have to click the links to find that out. Portals need maintainers and this one does not have any. Portals also need scope and a single team lacks that scope as the article count is to small. Essentially the same as many of the company portals we have deleted. Also falls within the reasonable scope of Portal:Seattle. Legacypac ( talk) 04:21, 13 April 2019 (UTC) reply

  • Question - Is User:SounderBruce maintaining the portal? Robert McClenon ( talk) 04:39, 13 April 2019 (UTC) reply
    • Not at the moment, though I haven't been particularly interested in a long time. Sounder Bruce 04:43, 13 April 2019 (UTC) reply
  • Comment - Old portal, 23 subpages, created 2009-11-24 00:47:44 by User:SounderBruce. A comment by a maintainer, if any, would be useful. Portal:Seattle Sounders FC. Pldx1 ( talk) 13:02, 13 April 2019 (UTC) reply
  • a maintainer, if any means... that I am asking if anyone in the wide world has any intention to step forward and put her name in the line maintainer=. Creator is about a moment in the past, maintainer is about a slot of time from now to some distant future. Pldx1 ( talk) 18:32, 13 April 2019 (UTC) reply
