The related project is active and is capable of rejigging this portal - putting up portals like this for MFD in this way is hardly the way to go - first it would have been appropriate to go to the project that is active - and leave a comment there. Then if no response maybe, but to put up with no sign of either checking with the project or current editors or listing it in the mfd - suggests a lack of knowledge of some protocol.
The more I look at the way portals work in project tie-ups, and general structure of how wikipedia works - I see this as a disruptive edit and recommend the proposal be removed and the editor needs to read up on what
WP:ABOUT and
WP:NOT before making such proposals

Strong Keep. The lack of recent edits is no reflection on the importance of this portal. Many of us are working very hard on Indonesia articles, and although there have not been many recent edits on the portal, it is vital to keeping track of articles. Also,
