Portal:Football in Iran
Unmaintained portal about a rather narrow topic. It has nothing but a mere two lines introductory lead. Most of the sections have red links, and also the topic lacks enough articles to have a good rotation of quality articles/media. — Bill william compton Talk 13:22, 8 August 2011 (UTC)

- No challenge to the nomination to delete, but I don't think "a rather narrow topic" is fair or accurate. " Football in Iran is quite possibly the [Iran's] most popular sport." That the portal compares poorly to Portal:Football in Germany can be put down to bias in coverage, probably due to bias in access. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 09:28, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
