There was almost a consensus to eliminate this portal last year. Except for one vandalism revert and the last MFD, it has had no edits whatsoever since August 2007, and the last edits were by a user who left the project that same month. Notwithstanding my constant frustration with the beyond-stagnant state of most country music articles, I simply see no point in a portal that has just been gathering cobwebs for so long. Almost all of the incoming links are from {{
Countrybanner}} anyway (which itself is found on the deadest talk pages you'll ever see), but that template can easily be fixed to remove the portal link should the portal be deleted. Grok.se is down right now, so I can't tell how many hits this portal has had, but I'd say "not many" is the answer. Roughly
20 hits a day ain't much.
