Portal:Bible/Selected person or something similar to remove the POV inherent in the bad title "biography". The trivialization of God is a content issue that does not require giving up the reasonable idea of focussing on a specific person every month.

- You are correct that the problem with the March entry is peculiar to it; however, my comment was intended to suggest that any "selected person" choice on a biblical topic is likely to be controversial. God is an especially bad case, but I cannot think of a good, non-controversial case.

Joseph (Hebrew Bible) could be decent and not too controversial possible choices, if a Selected person is to be included on the Bible portal. However, this is a matter that should really be discussed at
Portal talk:Bible.

- I thought about this a bit, and I think Kusma is correct. There probably are biblical people (I like your suggest of Joseph, Patriarch of Israel) who would be uncontroversial. The selectors should be very careful, though. I have amended my vote above to clarify. Xoloz 13:06, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

- Keep This is much ado about nothing. "Biography" does not imply anything about the subject -- not even that it is real. They don't even have to apply to persons!
