Portal:Battlestar Galactica
Automated pseudo-portal based on a single navbox {{ Battlestar Galactica}} of which it is a WP:REDUNDANTFORK. Recreation of redirected dead portal.
This portal was created in March 2006. In 2009, it was nominated

. The discussion closed as redirect to
Wikipedia:WikiProject Battlestar Galactica
.
In October 2018, @ The Transhumanist converted [2] the redirect into an automated portal.
The overwhelming consensus at two recent, well-attended, WP:CENT-advertised mass nominations, each of over a thousand portal pages, is that a portal which simply reproduces a navbox in a different form is of no use and shoukd be deleted. See MFD:Mass-created portals based on a single navbox and MFD:Second batch of mass-created portals based on a single navbox.
There is currently no documented consensus about the appropriateness of single TV shows as topics for a portal. Recent MFDs seem to conclude not, but this may require further discussion.
So I propose that this portal and its subpages be deleted without prejudice to recreating a curated portal not based on a single navbox, in accordance with whatever criteria the community may have agreed at that time. -- BrownHairedGirl (talk) • ( contribs) 19:40, 22 April 2019 (UTC)
