Draft:Rodney Gardin ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Two additional drafts by the same editor added to this list by davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) at 18:50, 7 December 2020 (UTC), please leave this MFD open for 7 days after the most recent addition, unless an early close is appropriate. Comments prior to 18:50, 7 December 2020 (UTC) apply only to the first-listed draft, Rodney Gardin. reply

Draft:Jonathan H. Steelman ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Draft:Keith Kilmer ( | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Person fails WP:GNG, WP:BIO, WP:PROF, WP:GNG. Shearonink ( talk) 02:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
Draft is among a large group of 15+ drafts that were created about what are private individuals. See Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Cory Burkus and the discussion there. If this MfD is malformed, then someone please do go ahead and fix it or delete is as malformed or do whatever WP-juju should be done. Thanks. Shearonink ( talk) 18:01, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply

@ Shearonink: WP-juju will be done shortly. davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 18:50, 7 December 2020 (UTC) (WP-juju done) davidwr/( talk)/( contribs) 18:54, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
SmokeyJoe Maybe my stated reasoning isn't according to Hoyle & WP but perhaps take a look at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Cory Burkus. Keeping in mind WP:NOTSOCIAL & WP:NOTWEBHOST this content belongs to a large group of 15+ drafts about private individuals, all created by the same editor and all sharing similar characteristics. Shearonink ( talk) 15:42, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
@ Shearonink: It's impossible to ascertain what your reasoning is - the deletion nomination is a succession of abbreviations, for instance we see you failing to demonstrate precisely why you think the biography fails the general notability guideline (twice, apparently). This is supposed to be a discussion, so we would expect you to discuss your concerns and demonstrate using more than abbreviations and links why you believe something should be deleted. OK, thanks for teaching me a thing. How about I change it then, you ok with that? Good. Done. Shearonink ( talk) 18:01, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
davidwr I'll consider it but I'll probably do it wrong somehow. Taking a look now... Shearonink ( talk) 15:42, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
No, sorry I won't. I am done with this particular editor's editing practices. Some expert around here can take this on. Shearonink ( talk) 18:01, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
On checking, while these would pass CSD#A7, they are unsourced BLPs and I cannot verify they they are politicians. I think BLPPROD should be applicable, and have re-raised this at WT:Proposed deletion of biographies of living people#BLPPROD in DraftSpace. — SmokeyJoe ( talk) 22:28, 7 December 2020 (UTC) reply
Delete due to being an unsourced WP:BLP, which I have attempted to find sources and did not. -- SmokeyJoe ( talk) 05:51, 8 December 2020 (UTC) reply
Three pages here nominated ...
Delete Draft:Rodney Gardin as an unsourced WP:BLP
Keep Draft:Jonathan H. Steelman as not a BLP (died April 24, 2020)
Delete Draft:Keith Kilmer as an unsourced WP:BLP

  • Comment. Jonathan H. Steelman or Jonathan Herbert Steelman... I can find no record of this particular person in Indiana, being born in 1931, dead in 2020. I can find no record that such a person has even existed and I even looked in whitepages(dot)com. This particular draft is looking like a possible hoax. SmokeyJoe - Can you change that Keep to a Delete in light of my comments above? Shearonink ( talk) 20:41, 17 December 2020 (UTC) reply
davidwr - See this... Shearonink ( talk) 20:26, 22 December 2020 (UTC) reply
Normally I might be inclined to that as well but I searched for variations on that name and cannot find this J.H. Steelman or as any of the variations I came up with. At all. I searched for "steelman 1931-2020" for "Jack steelman Indiana," for Jonathan Steelman/Jonathan H. Steelman/John Steelman/etc. all in (somewhere) Indiana and at least having lived in the 21st Century. There is a John H Steelman who lived in Indiana PA, and some Steelmans in that area of Pennsylvania but I am telling you I can find no evidence that this person, as they are delineated within the Draft, existed or exists or whatever. And, oh, btw neither does this (alleged) "Regional Director" "job" of "Northwest Indiana". This content is seeming more and more to me like a joke (haha, how *funny* amirite) about an acquaintance or an outright hoax. I am thinking WP:DUCK applies... Shearonink ( talk) 16:58, 9 December 2020 (UTC) reply
I don't disagree with your assessment Godsy, but I'd like to point any interested admins to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Cory Burkus where 1)all the Draft:BLPs 2)that were listed there and 3)that were created by 4)the same editor have now been deleted per the following policies/guidelines/posts: WP:NOTSOCIALNETWORK, WP:BLPPRIVATE, spam, etc. Can the above listed Drafts - Draft:Rodney Gardin, Draft:Keith Kilmer, Draft:Jonathan H. Steelman - be dealt with or to they get to live on in Draft space when all their associated brethren have already been deleted... Shearonink ( talk) 20:41, 17 December 2020 (UTC) reply
