Draft:Ayoub Lakhal
This version of this draft fails verification. It appears that the author has been trying to create an article on a Moroccan footballer named Ayoub Lakhal. At least, a naïve Google search for Ayoub Lakhal matches the information for the subject of the current Wikipedia article, who was born on 7 July 1996 and plays as a midfielder. There are two versions of articles by User:Waccasa, and they have both been shuttling between draft space and article space. This draft does not match anyone on a naïve Google search, and one of its references is for someone with a different name. I am using this MFD as a community discussion to identify whether we really should simply redirect this draft to the player, or whether there really is another player. It appears at this time that the article, Ayoub Lakhal, is correct, and so it should simply be improved in article space. I realize that using MFD is not the standard way to resolve the confusion around these articles, but I don't know of a standard way in Wikipedia. Delete? Redirect? - Delete The article Ayoub Lakhal is in mainspace and meets WP:NFOOTY. The two drafts are therefore redundant. -- John B123 ( talk) 06:27, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
