Keep or offer an alternate means of telling people how to make their own sandbox. In point of fact, this article is telling people that typing "/sandbox" or "\sandbox" is wrong -- and tells them what to do -- i.e. ot os helpful. Clearly this falls into proper use of mainspace in that sense, and would not fall into MfD in any case.

Didn't think of this before, perhaps would be more beneficial, it would seem to be more beneficial to redirect the page to the wikipedia page dealing with creating a userpage sandbox. —Preceding

I don't especially like to have this sort of thing in article space, but having something at
\sandbox (and
/sandbox, and possibly
\Sandbox and
/Sandbox) is a necessary evil. It isn't just a convenience issue, but one of those things related to
WP:BEANS that I shan't elaborate further on. However, the best solution is probably not to try and explain things, but to just make it work - make these a protected redirect to
Special:MyPage/sandbox so the user content automagically ends up in the right place. In any case, such pages need to be protected - full protection (or create-protection) plus move protection, indefinitely. —

With suggestion that all similar pages not currently extant (as noted above) be created with the same aim to make it as simple as possible for newbies to learn about creation of sandboxes.

Delete and salt. I see the reason for creating this page, but it breaks the rules about what belongs in article space - if we allow this, we'd have to allow the creation of pages under many similar 'mistake' titles, some of which could be taking the place of actual articles. Deletion may be less helpful for newbies, but I think it's the better option here.
