From List of MPs standing down at the 2019 United Kingdom general election, we know that at least 74 seats will have new MPs. Each constituency page on Wikipedia has a list of who is standing in 2019. Some of these will be safe Tory or Labour seats, so we can confidently predict who will be elected. Once we have the exit polling data at 10pm, we will have an even better idea of who some of these new MPs will be.
However, they won't be notable in Wikipedia terms until the constituency result is declared, but we can create an article draft.
Candidate | Seat | Former MP | Party | 2017 result | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Anthony Browne (politician) | South Cambridgeshire | Heidi Allen | Conservative | 52/27 Tory/Labour | |
Mary Foy (politician) | City of Durham | Roberta Blackman-Woods | Labour | 55%/30% Labour/Tory |
