Open Access Anniversary Event at The Met. The Met will host a free event to mark the one-year anniversary of its Open Access initiative, in cooperation with their partners, Wikimedia NYC and the Wikimedia Foundation. This two-part event will explore the potential and value of opening up institutional collections and data to the public.
Being held on Tuesday February 13, 2018, the event will feature a Wikidata panel and workshop (including an Art+Feminism focus), and a conversation with Katherine Maher.
Please check in with Museum staff when you arrive. Attendees should bring their own laptops and power cords to participate in the workshop.
