Only 10% of Wikipedia contributors identify as female, which has led to an under representation of women focused pages. The University of Waterloo Library is hosting an edit-a-thon on March 1, 2017 as part of the
Art+Feminism movement aimed at disrupting this trend. First-time and experienced editors welcome!
Date: March 1, 2017
Time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm (drop-in any time)
Venue: University of Waterloo Library - Dana Porter Flex Lab, LIB 329
Cost: Free! Please note that space is limited. Those wishing to participate on-site should register ahead of time.
Participants: Basic Wiki editing skills are required, though hands-on assistance (and encouragement!) will be available on-site. See the Resources section, below, or the Wikipedia
Help page for online training resources and assistance. New editors are encouraged to create an account ahead of the event. A limited number of computers will be available on-site, along with workspace for personal laptops. You are also welcome to participate from home.

Placing {{

Once you have added your name, please make sure to
join the program dashboard in order to have your edits tracked and counted toward the global Art+Feminism project.
The following lists are not exhaustive and are intended only as a starting point for possible contributions. You can assign yourself articles or review contributions made by UW participants in the
"Articles" section of the program dashboard. Feel free to add the names of notable people, organizations or events related to the theme of Art + Feminism.
