The Yale Art+Feminism Wikipedia Training and Edit-a-thon will take place in the Robert B. Haas Family Arts Library on the evening of March 4, 2016. This year's event is open to members of the Yale community.
Please bring your Yale ID and a laptop with you!
Here is some information to help you set goals for what you would like to accomplish during the event.
If you have 45 minutes: Attend a training session to learn about Wikipedia
If you have 1 hour: Attend a training and add some citations to an existing article. Or, update image metadata on Wikimedia Commons.
If you have 2 hours: Attend a training and add a few well-cited sentences or a paragraph to an existing article. And/or, try adding an image to an article or updating image metadata on Wikimedia Commons.
If you have 3 hours: Create a new article stub and add a well-cited paragraph.

For help at the event, look for volunteers with blue nametags. Volunteers are Wikipedia enthusiasts, experts, and Reference Librarians!
