Can we have some advice over whether the activities of this footballer's father should be included under the 'personal life' section of his wiki entry.

Where is the dispute?

The footballer's father has links to the RIRA according to reliable sources (one listed, but more provided - see talk page). teh question is, whether this shoul dbe included under the personal life section of the page in question.

Who is involved?

What is the dispute?

Here is the talk page [1] and here is the section in question [2]

What would you like to change about this?

simply an opinion on whether this is valid or not, or any changes in wording, etc.

How do you think we can help?

Pretty straightforward - is that info on the father acceptbale or not.

Mediator notes

Short answer is no, not acceptable. Long answer- BLP is very strict on this sort of stuff. The section that was added has no information on the subject of the article. Details of the fathers activities does not belong in the article, especially in the context it has been added. If the information was on the subject of the article itself, the text was written neutrally and backed up with reliable sources, then yes, it could be in the article, but no, not if it's their father.
