Article: Mother Content of main photo at the top of the article.
Just a list of the users involved. For example:
User:Kafziel User:DavidBailey User:Origen01
Please help us resolve a dispute over the featured photo for mother. User:Kafziel, the admin, believes "Migrant Mother" by Dorothea Lange presents an unbiased, NPOV of motherhood. Several others (myself included) have complained that the photo has negative overtones and is inappropriate in displaying the role of an average mother. Kafziel has refused any edits of the main picture.

If at all possible, please intervene to make sure the featured photo on the page is one that displays the role of a mother or the relationship between mother and child. User:DavidBailey presented a great set of possible photos in the talk section of the article. The main picture as it stands really casts a pall on the article and seems like a political statement (especially in comparison with the Fatherhood article).
Please look objectively at the back and forth between DavidBailey and Kafziel in the talk section under "Photograph of Mother". It is my opinion that Kafziel is being autocratic with the edit policy.

This appears stale (2009) and not yet ripe for mediation if reraised. However, if the parties wish mediation, I'll happily help. Hipocrite ( talk) 08:05, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
If you've set up a 4-way choice (which glancing at the talk, you seem to have) then it could be preferable to organize a Request for Comment. PhilKnight ( talk) 18:12, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
