Following a request for help I would like to draw attention to a debate taking place in the talk page of Human rights in Venezuela.
A short list of the users involved, for example;
There are a couple of editors in there User:Disembrangler and User:JRSP that are refusing to accept perfectly valid and correctly sourced information, and keep editing out contributions. Since I am kind of new to Wikipedia, I would appreciate any help to solve this, as attempts to reason with mentioned editors result in rather unpleasant experiences, not conducive to constructive collaboration.
I would like other editors to look at the history of the page and the sources that I have provided. Also to visit the talk page to gather an impression of the debate we're having. It seems to me that information provided by editors mentioned does not comply with Wikipedia policy.
Please comment on quality of sources provided by me, and whether or not information that I think is correctly sourced belongs on the article. It would be good if editors could comment on giving undue weight to views attributed to academics, none of whom seem to be human rights experts or spokespeople for reputable human rights organizations. A quick glance at the contributions page of the editors mentioned might help understanding their adamant positions regarding information that may be perceived as negative toward Venezuela and its officials.
