Where is the dispute?

Iyengar#Origin

Who is involved?

What is the dispute?

This is not a serious dispute and is in picture because of a new user without clear understanding of principles of wikipedia. The origin of Iyengar section has been edited by User:Svr014 without understanding the principles like WP:NOR , WP:NPOV. The user provided unsourced material first time , then altered text in references / provided irrelevant references to reflect POV, removed citation required tags without providing the references and to top it all reports that User:Logicwiki is vandalizing to an admin here instead of debating the concerns in the Talk:Iyengar#Origin_Aryan_theory page

What would you like to change about this?

Have only properly sourced content to be present in Origin of Iyengar.

How do you think we can help?

  • Comment on the disputed content in Origin of Iyengar
  • Provide a constructive criticism to both User:Svr014 and User:Logicwiki for the kind of edits made by them on Iyengar and note the mistakes made by them which will help them improve in future.

Mediator notes

Hi everyone; to ensure that you're comfortable with this step in dispute resolution, I'd like you to both sign your names with four tildes beneath this post to confirm that you're alright. Otherwise you can remove my name from this case and find a different mediator. :-D GrooveDog ( talk) ( Review) 02:08, 19 July 2009 (UTC

User:Svr014 has a retired on their page, I'll take that as a sign that this dispute is closed as there remains only one party. Thanks for using the Mediation Cabal. GrooveDog ( talk) ( Review) 02:12, 19 July 2009 (UTC) reply
