Mediator notes

My name is Iamzork and I would like to act as an informal mediator for this case. At this time I would like to remind you that the Mediation Cabal is a completely informal, unofficial means of dispute resolution. The official means are the Mediation Committee and the Arbitration Committee. If any parties are not satisfied with the results of this mediation, they are free to ignore them; once again, this is an unofficial process. I am an editor like you - if you've ever heard of the term "peer mediation", this is it. Thanks to all parties for your cooperation. Now, let's get started! (Oh, and just as a sidenote, remember to sign all posts you make on this page with four tildes (~~~~). This will make everyone's lives easier, instead of having to trace back through the page's edit history. Thanks for your cooperation.) -- Iamzork ( talk) 02:44, 7 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Administrative notes

Hey, guys - I just found this page and this one. Take a look at them - they may offer some insight to the problem (and I found them interesting). -- Iamzork ( talk) 12:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Oh, and this one too. -- Iamzork ( talk) 12:45, 7 June 2008 (UTC) reply

I would assume that most of us are all too familiar with those pages ..-- Snowded ( talk) 14:00, 7 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Discussion

  • Is everyone okay with a public mediation on the talk page? If not, feel free to email me privately at iamzork@gmail.com. Otherwise, please write "I agree to public mediation" and sign it below. I will try to wait until all parties listed above reply, but if it takes an obscene amount of time, we may begin mediation. If anybody disagrees with this (or anything I or any other parties say during mediation), don't hesitate to comment about it. We're here to solve problems - we can't do that if we don't know what they are. (I do not have IRC, but will get it if it becomes necessary.)
