There are attempts to place an article I created in relation to Thomas Broe, an Irish student/politician, on the deletion list. I believe that this is unfair, and would appreciate a third party's opinion.
- What would you like to change about that?

Obviously, I'd like to keep the article up on Wikipedia! And stop people harassing it.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?

While using the talk page of the article in question to solve a dispute is encouraged to involve a larger audience, feel free to discuss the case below if that is not possible. Other mediators are also encouraged to join in on the discussion as Wikipedia is based on consensus.
- I've been watching this situation develop. Strikes me that
User:Irishguy has done everything correctly, followed the
WP:AFD procedure correctlly, even has gone as far as to let the editor know his article has been nominated. The article in question,
Thomas Broe has since been partially blanked by Diegosanchez15.

- I agree also. I went ahead and opened it, and placed my name as mediator. But article is going through a normal afd. I think this is just a misunderstanding of a new editor. I'm probably going to remove the nom for speedy. I think we should either close this case immediately or wait a day or 2. TheRingess 01:13, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I just noticed that the creator particpated in the afd. So I think it is safe to close this one. TheRingess 01:16, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
