Where is the issue taking place?
2006 Israel-Lebanon Conflict and its Talk Page
Who's involved?
Isarig is probably the most active of all editors on this issue. There are several others, such as Nielswik and Avraham. Other editors were partly involved by taking one stand or another in this standoff.
What's going on?
There is a revert war currently ongoing on whether the source from KuwaitTimes.net ( "Hezb's political regrouping efforts in full swing".) is a WP:RS or not. There were also arguments on WP:POV, such as the claim that it's a "pro-Israel" site, according from an anonymous user 66.211.32.50.
What would you like to change about that?
I'd like it to cease opposite sides by any peaceful means. Reaching a consensus would be the best option, in my opinion.
Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
I'm not exactly positive of how serious of the concerns on WP:POV and WP:RS are, so I guess it all depends on how you view it. You can always leave a message to me at my talk page if anything else happens.

Remedies: Any user, particularly Tasc, who engages in edit warring with respect to 2006 Israel-Lebanon conflict may be banned from the article for an appropriate period. Editors are cautioned that there may be exceptions to Wikipedia Guidelines and Style Guides due to unusual circumstances such as an important current event. Decisions need to be based on utility of the article to readers, not to literal compliance with Wikipedia rules. ( Wikipedia:Requests_for_arbitration/Completed_requests#September)
I'm providing these links and information to the case mediator. I have not reviewed the merits of the case nor its specifics, and am not passing judgment on any party. ~Kylu ( u| t) 21:02, 7 November 2006 (UTC) (MedCab Coordinator) reply

I'll take this one on. -- Mechcozmo 21:17, 11 November 2006 (UTC) reply

I've read through what is going on, and am pretty sure the solution that I've come to is a good one. I've taken Vic226's suggestion and used his talk page for my response. (If that doesn't work, we can move to this page. Sorry, I'm new to this and am a bit unsure as to what goes where. If a more seasoned mediator would like to drop me a pointer or two on my talk page that'd be great. If not, I'll play it by ear.) -- Mechcozmo 06:09, 12 November 2006 (UTC) reply
