Hi
i have created a page for Lou Sticca
I have included several reputable references but the page still has a box on it saying it is flagged for deletion.
could you please advise why the references have not been verified yet or what i can do
thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasonsticca ( talk • contribs) 01:01, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
I just heard that Dusty Baker was the original person to institute the high five. I always thought it was Glenn Burke who played for the Alburque Dukes in 1975-77 and was called up to the Dodgers where played in 1978 and then was traded to the A's and then became ill and never played again — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.198.2.161 ( talk) 01:17, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello there,
I work as an intern for the band Bestfriends. This specific article page has been in creation for a while: Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Bestfriends
Is there any possible way to speed up the process? What else would I need to help create the article? Any help would be much appreciated.

This is with reference to the information about Pingala
In the section: Combinatorics There is a sentence : Pingala's work also contains'the Fibonacci number, called mātrāmeru, and now known as the Gopala–Hemachandra number.[5]
Its the other way round. Pingala existed before Fabonacci. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.84.184.140 ( talk) 12:06, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
I'm sure I've toggled something because the citation templates are protected on my account at the moment. I am just working an article up in the sandbox. Any suggestion to get them working again?

They still do not respond when I click to open a fresh one. They did work when I started the article. Could just be a corruption. I'll work round it. Thanks for looking at it for me. Sidpickle ( talk) 17:05, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
|page=
. Oddly enough, that parameter is for page numbers. Anything other than page numbers corrupts the citation's
WP:COinS metadata. There is a parameter for chapters, |chapter=
, which should have the chapter's title. When I try to open the citation template for say web it does nothing. I think it may be a local setting my end now that I have thought about it. I just fiddled with the browser settings to see if this has sorted it.
Thanks again for looking into the issue.

I cannot use the template on any article in Wikipedia (I discovered), not just the sandbox. Either from the toolbar at the top or the drop down list at the bottom. Sidpickle ( talk) 08:58, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
There are two disambiguation pages for Clinton Park:
/info/en/?search=Clinton_Park_%28disambiguation /info/en/?search=Clinton_Park_%28disambiguation%29
There is also something wrong with the entries for the section on the neighborhood park in Clinton Park, Houston.
I would appreciate it if some clever editor would straighten out this situation. There should be only one disambguation page, and there should be a link to the neighborhood park in Houston.-- DThomsen8 ( talk) 14:18, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

CipherCloud ( | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)
The company CipherCloud seems to be the victim of a negative social media campaign. The company's Wikipedia page is now evidently part of this campaign. Because it's so easy to create a Wikipedia account, anyone can quickly remove any information they like - industry recognition, a list of company leadership, and any other information that's factual and unbiased but positive, and make broad-sweeping claims to hurt the company's credibility.
Certainly, the company can monitor this, and make changes while citing the reasons for them, but are there any other tactics available? What we're seeing here is not in the spirit of what Wikipedia was created to do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by IDigAwards ( talk • contribs) 14:52, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello,
I submitted an entry regarding the franchise organization, Handyman Matters Franchise Company (HMFC), on April 9th, 2013. Is this entry still being reviewed in the Wikipedia queue? Thanks for any information you can provide. BenWaymire ( talk) 16:01, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
Hi all,
I want to contribute to an article Payne (company) but I'm concerned that it may get nominated for speedy deletion as it was already nominated several months ago. Even though speedy deletion was removed I'm concerned that any contribution I make even with valid citations may mean its deletion.
As speedy deletion has been removed, does this mean that it will not get nominated again, and can only instead be reverted back to the state after speedy deletion was removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tauqsouth ( talk • contribs) 19:07, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

My username on the English Wikipedia is "Neelix" and I am afraid that, because of the recent announcement about unifying accounts, I will lose my username. I am by far the most active user named "Neelix" across the various Wikimedia projects. As far as I know, there have only been a handful of edits made under that name on Wikimedia projects other than the English Wikipedia. On all projects other than the English Wikipedia, my username is "Ambassador Neelix". Is it possible for me to have a unified account across all Wikimedia projects under the name "Neelix"? If so, who would I approach about making this happen? Neelix ( talk) 20:03, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
The articles treaty and foreign policy of the United States have been tagged as being in conflict with each other for more than a year. I placed an article content Request for Comments tag on the talk page for treaty. The comment was made on the talk page that it was a good idea to get the conflict resolved, but the question was whether an RFC was the way to do that. Opinions? I am trying to create a page and it keeps getting deleted saying it has been copied from LinkedIn. I have access to all this information, but if I cite anything it says it's a promotional page, so I have changed the content and now it is being deleted again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ally D3 ( talk • contribs) 23:53, 7 May 2013 (UTC)
