Hello
I'm currently working on an article for a compay and want to insert a Infobox on the top at the right hand side. For the company, a German Article already exists with a Infobox. But if I copy this, I will get an error, because it is a German template. So I've tried to find an english template. I found "Infobox Company", but this doesn't work either, as I can't add new lines or delete existing lines. Can someone help me please?
Thank you and best regards Zeh C ( talk) 06:21, 17 May 2013 (UTC)Zeh_C
Ethnography looks funny at the top of the article. I can't find the problem though. -- Canoe1967 ( talk) 11:41, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
Agreed. Looks much better now and I may contact the projects later if they don't spot the changes on watchlists.-- Canoe1967 ( talk) 18:52, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
Hello to everyone.
I've received this answer while I've been trying to add external links to some topics.
"It appears you are adding external links to many different Wikipedia pages in rapid succession. This is often a sign of people spamming Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites. Before you continue you may wish to review Wikipedia's policies of external links and spam as these may help you decide whether these links are appropriate for Wikipedia. Please feel free to ask at the Help Desk if you have any questions".
It's true that I've tried to link some external pages on wikipedia pages, but they are not spams. So, I would like to ask if my links will be deleted and I ask the permission to add these useful links on Wikipedia pages. In any case, I would like to avoid the blacklisting and I need help how to proceed. Thank you in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vkaramarigos ( talk • contribs) 12:35, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
I would like to add that altcine.com fulfills the guidelines of the [ external link] session about “what can normally be linked”, point 3 “Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that is relevant to an encyclopedic understanding of the subject and cannot be integrated into the Wikipedia article due to copyright issues,[3] amount of detail (such as professional athlete statistics, movie or television credits, interview transcripts, or online textbooks), or other reasons.
To whom it may concern,
The story referenced in the subject/headline has a picture of Dr. Stephen Hawking with the incorrect subtitle. The picture indicates Dr. Hawking is onboard a Vomit Comet, which is inaccurate. The Vomit Comet refers to NASA's program. Dr. Hawking flew on a Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G) flight as part of a fundraising effort. The correct and trademarked name of ZERO-G's plane, a Boeing 727-200F, is G-FORCE ONE.
Kind regards, Zero Gravity Corporation Media Relations — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.102.60.144 ( talk) 14:46, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
HI,
The below mentioned link has an image of BIMSTEC countries, in which the map of India does not represent its actual boundaries.
Bay_of_Bengal_Initiative_for_Multi-Sectoral_Technical_and_Economic_Cooperation
Being citizen of India would I have an objection to the same. Supposedly the image is not showing the disputed areas between India & Pakistan and India & China as part of India, which is not right and not acceptable. Furthermore the disputed area between India and China is in Kashmir, while in this map a major part of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand is also removed. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand lie very well within the Soverign state on India.
On account of above stated reasons I would request you to please remove the Map which shows wrong boundaries of India.

Please look at this site and take down. It is fabricated and is an actual attack of service members. This is not what I believe your site would want to portray yourselves as being a part of such fabricated slander. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.162.128.52 ( talk) 18:37, 17 May 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
I am a writer and recently published a nonfiction book about corporate and government corruption. I would like to publish an article on Wikipedia about myself, as the author, and mention my book and it's subject matter. My book has been listed on Amazon for one month. There have been five news articles written about my story and the story has been posted on the Internet since 2008. See website: http://www.aeolusblue.net
Thanks, Wayne Pierce — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aeolusblue ( talk • contribs) 20:15, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
I know that Wikipedia has had significant dicussions on date format, including tendencies to go with the style used in the geographic area that the article refers to. Does anyone know if similar discussions have been done on time? Specifically, is it appropriate in Military articles which contain timelines to use Military time and would it be appropriate for a page about an event occuring in the Philippines to use 12:00NN for noon and 12:00MM for midnight. While I'm not sure if it is official, I know that when I see 12:00NN, it is almost always in either the Philippines or occasionally Hong Kong. Naraht ( talk) 21:40, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
