Ive been autoconfirmed but im not sure how to upload pictures. Can somebody explain? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pk10534 ( talk • contribs) 00:26, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
[[File:File name.jpg|thumb|Caption text]]
to the area of the article where you want the image to appear – replacing File name.jpg
with the actual file name of the image, and Caption text
with a short description of the image. See our
picture tutorial for more information. I hope this helps.--

13:27, 23 April 2013 (UTC)I don't know what is making this happen, but there is a "wikilink embedded in URL title" error appearing in Administrative divisions of Murmansk Oblast even though there is no explicit wikilink in the reference. There is a {{lang|ru}} template in a reference, which appears to automatically insert "[[Category:Articles containing Russian language text]]" into the reference's URL. I don't know how to fix this. It looks like this category insertion is done by Template:Lang. I'm guessing that someone needs to tell the Category to attach itself to the article but not display in the reference. Or something. Jonesey95 ( talk) 04:30, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
{{
lang}}
should not be used in |title=
when |url=
is used in the citation because |url=
and {{lang}}
are competing to the same resource (|title=
). Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, the contents of |title=
are passed out of the citation in
WP:COinS metadata for use by external referencing tools. Including {{lang}}
in |title=
corrupts that data because
Category:Articles containing Russian language text is not part of the cited work's title. The |title=
parameter of that particular citation should be rewritten from:|title={{lang|ru|Население отдельных национальностей по возрастным группам и полу по субъектам Российской Федерации}} (''Population by nationality, by age group and sex, by the federal subjects of Russia'')
|title=Население отдельных национальностей по возрастным группам и полу по субъектам Российской Федерации
|trans-title=Population by nationality, by age group and sex, by the federal subjects of Russia
{{lang}}
is that the article drops out of the
Category:Articles containing Russian language text. I suppose that's not the end of the world.

16:09, 23 April 2013 (UTC)Hi,
I believe that allowing users to toggle drop-down-definitions for all links, would save energy and time spent researching. "Drop-down-definitions" would alter all links to other pages on a page so that a short 1 sentence definition drops down and allows the user to read it, then open the link to learn more if they want to. If this were in place, time would not be wasted waiting for the new tabbed webpage to open.
Thanks,

The Information of this page: Editing Pornography by region (section) in Latin America, about Ecuador it is wrong, since The National Laws in Ecuador is encouraging about mental health of people. I want to cite patent no. D307,923 in USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) (cite number 4). I used {{ cite patent}} to do this, but the link doesn't seem to work. How exactly do I need to format this so that the link will be working? -- Toshio Yamaguchi 12:04, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Should I disambiguate this as Lalang, Micronesia or Lalang (island)? -- Toshio Yamaguchi 12:26, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi, I initiated an RFC on a talk page where a converstion had already started. Did I format it right, by moving the conversation to a sub-section below (so that the rfc bot doesn't pick up all the conversation and paste it on the RFC board)? Thanks. CaptainScreebo Parley! 12:40, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Hi I need to change the title from «The Cartagene Biobank Project» to «Cartagene biobank» The weblink: The CARTaGENE Biobank Project. I made an edit this morning but the change does not yet appear. Am i doing something wrong. Thanks

Approximately three weeks ago I submitted an article on the Institute for International Crimial Investigations (IICI), but to date it has not appeared in Wikipedia. When I enter "IICI" or the full title in the search box, I am referred to an article on the International Criminal Court, a different entity.
Your assistance would be appreciated.

It seems to me that 3dconversion3d has a history of adding advertising for their own company and, on at least one occasion, removing competition from the 2D to 3D conversion page. I do not know how to proceed, but would like to bring it to someone's attention. These questionable edits seem to be interspersed with valid attempts at improving the article.
