I'm trying to link a reference in Beau Brummel (1924 film), but it looks like it's getting confused by the "|" character. Is there a solution? Clarityfiend ( talk) 07:44, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Hello, Reading this page made me wonder: obviously this page had been edited many times before.. So why keeping it? Wikipedia is a source of information professional and formal information, and there nothing prof. and formal in this page it's simply confusing! Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.108.247.141 ( talk) 07:49, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
I've come across Diamond Pet Foods. It contains some very glowing language about the company, such as "...focused on providing the best nutrition for every pet, whether it was an expensive show animal or a child's free puppy or kitten." Sounds like marketing bullshit to me. I also wonder what makes a pet food company notable enough to deserve an article anyway. Where do I go with such concerns? There is a page- Suburban Express, which use to have a paragraph called "controversies" which link to several articles such as this- http://www.dailyillini.com/news/campus/article_026b7ab0-a89e-11e2-a046-001a4bcf6878.html. Why was it removed? Several individuals think the owner of the Suburban Express removed it to hide the bad reputation. It needs to go back on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.222.212.164 ( talk) 17:44, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Heya, I lurk on a bunch of television articles, and was hoping to get some clarification on the inclusion of International broadcast tables, preferably from someone with some familiarity editing TV articles. WP:MOS:TV seems to say fairly unambiguously, albeit briefly, that listing every channel a show is aired on, is discouraged. And when I see a list like this I shudder. If the show is produced in an English-speaking country, should we be chopping these lists down to include only English-speaking countries that air the show? It seems that WP:MOS:TV is specifically encouraging this. Thanks! Cyphoidbomb ( talk) 18:20, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Greetings, I'm trying to help an established Russian theater director edit his wikipedia page. Since my English is better than my Russian, I have decided to post my question here. Basically, the article contains a "Proposed deletion process" tag. In the discussion, person A states, "Relevance?", and person B responds with a link containing a great number of online articles, etc, suggesting that the person in question is indeed important enough to have his own wikipedia page. This discussion took place last year, but the tag is still there and no further progress has been made. How would I go about removing this tag? Thanks! Ikalnitsky

I'm a highly experienced editor, but here's something I'm unclear on. I know that interwiki links are now supposed to be handled using WikiData, but if somebody adds such a link to an article in the old way, what should I do about it? Revert it? Leave it for a bot to handle? Fix it somehow? Looie496 ( talk) 19:57, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Maple Leaf (train) mentions that it is a Codeshare agreement and is blue linked in the lead. The codeshare agreement article mentions air-rail but not rail-rail agreements. Should I bring this up in the rail projects? They may be not very active nor interested though. Another place may be ref desk. Out of my field or I would fix. File:Railcu.svg is the best map we have if any are curious.-- Canoe1967 ( talk) 20:28, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
Heya there. I sometimes like to check out the new pages feed, and when I would click Review, it'd show the article with a pretty sidebar on the right with some nifty tools for tagging, etc. I guess I clicked on the X and can't seem to figure out how to get it back. Anyone know? Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 20:50, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
How do I upload a picture of a portrait painted by Adriaen Hanneman. It is a portrait of my ancestor painted by Hanneman and it had to be painted after about 1625 through 1630. Ok another question, when a section of an article has a main article (e.g. with Template:Main), assuming this main article covers the same material and is well sourced, is it acceptable to omit references? I'm almost certain I read a WP namespaced article stating this is NOT ok, but I can't find it... Personally, as a reader I think it looks bad to omit references under any justification. Thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 23:20, 22 April 2013 (UTC)
