File:Comoros FA.png ( delete | talk | history | links | logs) – uploaded by Chanheigeorge ( notify | contribs | uploads | upload log).
WP:DECORATIVE non-free use in Comoros Football Federation#Logos which fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFG. Since this logo has been replaced in the main infobox by File:FF Comoros (logo).png, it's no longer being used for primary identification purposes and the justification for that type of non-free use is no longer valid given the current use of the file. Non-free former logos can be used but generally the logo itself needs to be the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#CS and WP:NFC#cite_note-4. Given that the file is now simply being used in an image gallery lacking any commentary of any kind, it doesn't satisfy the WP:NFCCP as currently used.
Note: This file was previously discussed at Wikipedia:Files for discussion/2020 August 14#File:Comoros FA.png and deleted by Fastily as a result. The file was, however, subsequently restored by RoySmith per Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2020 September 5, but the DR discussion seemed to be more about editor behavior than whether this particular file complies with the NFCCP; so, I bringing it up for discussion here again at FFD so that it can be sorted out once and for all. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 02:19, 25 November 2021 (UTC) reply
  • Delete we don't need the old logo, as it's not critical to the article, and so fails WP:NFCC#8. Joseph 2302 ( talk) 09:09, 25 November 2021 (UTC) reply

Currently used in On the 6 (album) and Let's Get Loud (song). Uncertain whether the sample is necessary for each article; I doubt it is. Furthermore, I also doubt that critical commentary is sufficient enough to support the sample, which may then fail WP:NFCC#8, even with captions describing the song. I can resample the song to replace the current revision. Even then, I'm unsure whether the sample still meets WP:NFCC#8. Either critical commentary is insufficient enough to support the sample, and/or the article can easily explain without any sample what the song is about and how the music is used. Reading the "Music and lyrics" section, IMO any reader can easily understand what the section says about the song and its structure, especially without the sample. I can resample the ballad version and downgrade the sample without making it sound too worse. Even so, I still have concerns about its compliance with WP:NFCC#8. I don't see critical commentary sufficient enough to support the sample, but I can stand corrected. George Ho ( talk) 22:57, 25 November 2021 (UTC) reply
