Closing because this really isn't the right way to use the process. You've created eighty-one separate discussions when they're seemingly all identical (all should be kept or deleted, as far as I can tell, and except for the first image, all of them have word-for-word identical rationales for nomination), which makes it much harder for anyone to participate across the board: people aren't going to participate in all of them. If you wish to have them deleted, please take them all to Wikipedia:Non-free content review, where they can be discussed as a group; if consensus concludes that these uses aren't fair, they can be deleted without a further FFD. I'm temporarily not removing the FFD tags from the images, since it wouldn't be courteous to use rollback on eighty-one separate images; it would be a waste of time anyway if they're deleted through NFCR, and if they survive NFCR, we can remove them later without any detriment from waiting. As there is no critical discussion about the image in the article Enfield Southgate (UK Parliament constituency) and as the image only is used decoratively in that article, it violates WP:NFCC#8. You are claiming that it fails WP:NFCC#8, therefore only points relating to WP:NFCC#8 need addressing. It is in the very nature of images that they are used, as you say, decoratively. I checked all of the articles about London constituencies currently represented by Tories, and the only ones with any pictures are Battersea (picture of John Burns, MP beginning in 1892), Enfield Southgate (File:Gershon Ellenbogen.jpg), Hendon (Margery Corbett Ashby, third-place candidate in 1929), and Romford (John Bethell, MP 1906-1918). Moreover, seventeen current MPs ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17) have free photos in their articles, even though their constituency articles have no pictures of anyone. Given these facts, if the picture significantly increases readers' understanding of the article to the point that its omission would be significantly detrimental, why are all of the others missing images when we don't even need to worry about NFCC for them? If editors of these pages have routinely not bothered to include pictures of current MPs, why is a third-place candidate from sixty years ago so important that his picture can pass WP:NFCC#8? Nobody's gotten around to adding a picture of David Burrowes, the current MP for the constituency where Ellenbogen stood, to the constituency article; if it's critically important to have people's pictures here, we wouldn't have omitted the Burrowes picture that's been on-wiki since October. I don't think that a nonfree photo of a deceased recent MP would warrant placement here (e.g. if Bob Stewart were to die tomorrow, we wouldn't be justified in adding a nonfree picture of him to the Beckenham article), and such a picture would be more significant than a picture of a decades-ago losing candidate. While it's true that "critical commentary on the image itself" is not strictly the only conceivable justification for a non-free item like this, some amount of non-trivial coverage obviously is required to pass NFCC#8. Here we have a mere list, in which the subject is merely a minor entry among dozens of others. It's a bare name, without even the slightest amount of biographical detail. If we don't have anything to say about the person in the text, there is no reason why the reader would need a photograph either. Nyttend's point is correct too: if all the others don't need photographs, why this one? The addition of this isolated and uncontextualized photograph looks quite unmotivated where it stands now, quite bizarre actually. Actually, I would disagree with anyone who categorically states that the people don't need photographs; I much prefer the appearance of my US Congressional district with photos when available. However, even there we present only the officeholders' pictures; there's nowhere to put a picture of the poor first-time candidate who had to oppose John Murtha's attempt to win an eighteenth straight term in office. @ Nyttend All the candidate images to which you refer, can be accessed on a constituency article directly from the name-link in the relevant election table. Therefore the need to actually include them in the constituency article is not as great. In the case of Ellenbogen, it is not possible to access the image in any other way, therefore its direct presence in the article is more necessary. @ Fut.Perf. A previous version of this file was in use for years and it's never been a problem before. The use of an image of a library card is notable to illustrate what a card issued by the library looks like. The use of the image is neither detrimental to Wikipedia nor to the library, nor is it at all likely in any possible world to place Wikipedia at risk for a complaint of a copyright violation. • Keep. A former logo enhances the reader's awareness of the history of the organisation: by presenting a former logo, we say "Here's how the organisation presented itself, 2002-2014". Perhaps dropping in a random logo wouldn't be as helpful (e.g. if they used another logo for a few months in 1983, it wouldn't be helpful if presented in isolation), but by showing the immediately previous logo, we also give a sense of continuity: "Here's how...2014, immediately before they switched to the current one", i.e. "This is the one from which they switched to the current one". NFCC#3 isn't relevant because no other image conveys equivalent significant information (nothing else can serve the same purpose as a logo), because a partial image wouldn't help (half of a logo would be worthless, for example), and because resolution issues are reason for resizing, not deletion.
