Google Play Store is non-free and not GPL, screenshot can be re-created using a similar permission display in the actual Apps menu in Settings (making it preemptively violate NFCC 1) ViperSnake151  Talk  01:38, 3 September 2013 (UTC) reply

  • Comment The file is unfree so it is unclear how the uploader meant to use the picture. However, if you just need to display the "App permissions" message, then you could crop that out and list it as {{ PD-ineligible}}. As the file isn't in use, I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble to save any part of it. -- Stefan2 ( talk) 10:35, 3 September 2013 (UTC) reply

This non-free image is used "[t]o demonstrate the gameplay of Bejeweled 3." It is a remarkably poor choice of image for illustrating gameplay, as the screen is darkened and has a big "TIME UP" text label obscuring it. Therefore, this image fails WP:NFCC#8. While different from the film poster, this image is used in Vanishing Point (1971 film). The soundtrack is not the main topic, and the image is used for the "Soundtrack" section. I believe that visual identity of the soundtrack is no longer necessary. Also, to make it necessary, either image itself must be discussed, or the image must also relate directly to the film, like File:Chor lau heung 1979 vinyl cast.jpg. George Ho ( talk) 17:15, 3 September 2013 (UTC) reply

As indicated in the Purpose of use field, the image is being used in the album infobox to show the primary visual image associated with the work—the album. Like other film articles with no corresponding soundtrack article, the soundtrack section often includes an infobox for the album. The album cover looks nothing like the film poster used in the film article. No reference to MOS guidance has been provided by the proposer. Bede735 ( talk) 17:37, 3 September 2013 (UTC) reply
Use of soundtrack images was discussed many times, especially in WT:NFC. Also, omittance of this image wouldn't affect the article and the reader's understanding of the film soundtrack because a reader can already understand the tracklist and the soundtrack's availability without this image and/or buy the film and hear the soundtrack. -- George Ho ( talk) 17:51, 3 September 2013 (UTC) reply

The original soundtrack article, where this image originally appeared, was merged into the main film article. Since the main article already contains a theatrical poster for identification, per MOS:FILM#Soundtrack, a soundtrack cover is unnecessary for its identification.
