Violation of Wikipedia:NFCC#8. This image does NOT "significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic" Երևանցի talk 17:09, 29 September 2013 (UTC) reply

As the uploader of the above three images, I don't know what all the hoopla is about and how the editor who has nominated them for deletion has come to the conclusion that they do not "significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic". Biography articles typically include photos of an individual interacting with other people, some of whom were or went onto become important world leaders, such as Nikita Khrushchev, pictured above in the first photo. I sense an ill-faith nomination as I have, unfortunately, come into conflict with said editor on another of other articles recently and so I do not believe that it is a mere coincidence that he plucked these three images simply out of concern that a viewer may not garner much understanding from them. But I leave that judgment to be made by more experienced editors.-- Marshal Bagramyan ( talk) 17:44, 29 September 2013 (UTC) reply
I suggest you read WP:AGF first. And how do these images "significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic"? How does the picture of Bagaramyan and Khrushchev help the reader understand the topic? There is no reason why there should be 4 non-free images in one article. -- Երևանցի talk 17:49, 29 September 2013 (UTC) reply
