Irving Berlin is an important enough songwriter to deserve a place among our featured sounds. The challenge is to find an early composition and a recording under free license. This 1914 song is remembered largely for Judy Garland's performance in the film Easter Parade. The film was made too late for the pre-1923 window, but I was able to locate this 1914 recording from the year the song was first composed and it's good quality for the period.
