  • Comment = IMO the caption at the bottom should be cropped out, leaving just the picture, because we already have a caption. But that could just be me. Also, the background is a bit grainy.     • Definitely not a digital problem. The Library of Congress did an excellent scan at high resolution. This was a photomechanical postcard print about 120 years old, possibly from an albumen original. Certain limitations come along with those technologies.
