Original - Rajputs or Rajpoots, seen here in an Illustrated London News series on India in commemoration of the British Royal Family visit in 1876, are one of the major
HinduKshatriya groups from India. They claim descent from ancient royal warrior dynasties.
Reason
Another fine engraving from the Illustrated London News, showing Victorian India.

Oppose. Tells me nothing about rajpoots. Is uninteresting relative to the article. Quality's ok.

Well, except that it shows their traditional clothing, and so on. =)

Weak Oppose Not a great image, and it doesn't seem to add much. The article doesn't seem consistent with the images that appear in it. I can't tell from this image or the others what traditional clothing looks like, nor how it contributes significantly to the encyclopedic value. It adds something, but not much. The article does much more for the subject.

Oppose per above.

Weak Oppose for similar reasons; a nice image, to be sure, but other images on the page also show their clothing, and it doesn't seem to explain a whole lot about them, nor does it wow me. Perhaps even the subject matter itself has a muted feel to it -- a bunch of guys, sitting around talking.

Oppose very boring image. I don't know much about rajpoots, and it makes me want to know even less.
