Nice work! Do you have any alternatives which illuminate the mating process a little more? --
Dschwen 21:09, 13 May 2007 (UTC)reply
Either is fine and gets a support from me. I'd have loved to see the egg packet exchange or whatever they are doing there. The shot is fine for the species but does not show mating, its cuddling at best. --

support nice to see an insect shot were there doing something.

Support, I love insect porn. Either version is ok, first is prettier, second is more enc.
Stevage 06:49, 14 May 2007 (UTC)reply
How does the second one have more enc? It is exactly the same angle, just rotated around the optical axis. --
Dschwen 08:22, 14 May 2007 (UTC)reply
We could always use both, but I'm not sure that gives the effect we're looking for. :) --TotoBaggins 11:51, 14 May 2007 (UTC)reply
Support original. The background green gives a better color composition. -

Support original. Not much to object to here, though it's a shame the face of the bottom bug is partially hidden in the flowers. --

Support original Use both? Me likely! jkjkjk Encyclopedic and unique. The original green background is a better contrast than the white background.
JumpingcheeseCont@ct 20:13, 14 May 2007 (UTC)reply
Support original The "Use both?" one is a little... suggestive. Great picture anyway.
BeefRendang 09:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)reply
Support original but I'd looooooooooooove to see the animated one on the main page, just for hilarity's sake.

Comment - I would find it amusing if the animated one were to appear on April 1 - after all, it is a day of fun is it not?
