Comment: The current use in the articles and the description on the file page is confusing. An oil field as a geologic feature. What is pictured here appears to be an
oil platform. The operator's website refers to the structure as Mittelplate Drilling and Production Island. It seems that the name Mittelplate is used inclusively to refer to the field, well and structure. The articles should make the proper distinctions of which is which. Also, an explanation of why the surrounding area appears black (it's a mudflat) would be nice. --

Support Almost looks like a model. I'd suggest some cleanup of this; removal of white spots in several areas, and the cluster of black spots at top left.

Support Nice angle and compact composition, although the angle of the sun behind the photographer makes it look as if it were a flash photo.
