Oppose Very harsh (flash?) lighting, blown parts of the flower, distracting background.

Support No part of the flower is blown. Did you check this histogram? --

Sorry, should have done that, but the bright areas of the flower (on the bottom petal especially) are lacking in detail.

Support Edit1 or Edit2. It's an interesting flower and nice photo of it. Not easy to get photos of white flowers like this that aren't badly overexposed. --
jjron 06:53, 12 October 2007 (UTC). The more I look at it the more I prefer Edit2. --

Comment Can we have a little more back on the crop? Just a little more on the sides so it doesn't seem too tight and I would support. I was going to oppose the original, but I think a cropped version would be a lot better.Jeff Dahl 03:16, 13 October 2007 (UTC)reply
Support Edit 2 There we go. It might not be as aesthetically pleasing as some others, and it doesn't have to be. It is encyclopedic, adds significantly to the article, and is technically sound.

If others support this idea I could redo it, but I'd have to do the whole thing again as I cropped first; don't have time now though. Part of the reason I went this tight was that otherwise it was going to end up a square, but I don't spose that matters. --

Note The image had been misidentified as Hymenocallis speciosa. The correct id is Pancratium zeylanicum.
