I've never understood the objection to the
first nomination. It's someone photographed in the middle of one of the most important things they did. It's pretty clearly a very important image. Now, is it perfect? No, but that's what happens with action shots.

Oppose Just because it relates to an important issue from a long time ago, does not mean we should promote a mundane snapshot.

Support - This is essentially an action shot for someone involved in politics, and given the significance of the historical moment, I think the EV outweighs the composition issues. —
